What is recorded here

Some 50m SW of a castle (GA115-028----), on marshy ground. On inspection this natural spring well was covered with stones and overgrown with briars. While there is no known local tradition of veneration here, it is marked on the 1838 and 1920 editions of the OS 6-inch maps, and named ‘Toberemon’ in Gothic script suggesting that it is possibly a holy well.
