In flat pastureland. Marked on the OS 6-inch maps as a series of curving field boundaries suggesting the possible outline of a large circular enclosure (diam. c. 175m). Described by P. Holland (pers. comm.) as an 'earthen banked enclosure'. No visible surface trace survives. However, its outline is visible on the OSi digitalglobe aerial photograph.
