In level pastureland. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 283, no. 9a) as a circular ‘Earthen fort’ (diam. c. 84.8m ext.) defined by a bank and external fosse; the latter was evident only around W half of the monument. No visible surface trace survives. A souterrain (GA114-073001-) lay within the interior.
