What is recorded here

In level pastureland. This very well-preserved, but tree-covered, subcircular rath (int. dims. 29m E-W; 27.6m N-S) is defined by a massive flat-topped bank (max. Wth 7.5-9.5m; int. H 1.7-2.1m; ext. H 3-3.7m) and external fosse (Wth 4.5-7.4m; D 1.6-1.8m). There is a stone-lined causewayed entrance gap (Wth 2.2m) at E. A souterrain (GA113-164001-), possible house site (GA113-164002-) and 19th-C burial vault are visible in the SW quadrant of the interior. A children's burial ground (GA113-163----) lies c. 35m to the N and some 80m to the SW there is a bullaun stone (GA113-166001-).
