On a gentle rise in pastureland. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 270-71, no. 25b) as a 'Stone fort (?)' consisting of a 'semi-circular wall, field-fences and two structures' enclosed by a cashel
wall which was subcircular in plan (c. 37m by c. 32m). There was an 'entrance [Wth c. 4.6m] on northeast side', though on his plan this is marked at NW. The 'two structures' (c. 12m by 5m and c. 8m by 5m), rectangular in plan, are shown in S half of the interior, separated by a curving wall. They may be the remains of house sites. A possible annexe is indicated on the plan at NW. Due to field clearance, no visible surface trace of the cashel or its associated features survives.
