What is recorded here

Circa 5m to the SE of a holy well (GA113-010001-). This simple Latin limestone cross (H 1m; arm span Wth 0.6m) is cemented into a stepped plinth of limestone blocks on the SE limits of a small cairn (c. 6.5m E-W; c. 0.5m N-S; H c. 1m). The slab is dressed on the SE face and sides but the NW face is unworked. It bears the INRI inscription on the SE face and is dated AD 1820. Compiled by: Olive Alcock Date of upload: 2 January 2018
