What is recorded here

A large natural boulder on the shoreline, below the high water mark, is shaped like a boat (information from T. Robinson, 1987). It is known locally as ‘Bád na Naomh’ or ‘Currach Stone’ and it is said that St Enda or St Colm Cille sailed to Aran on it (Robinson 1980). Compiled by: Olive Alcock Date of upload: 9 February 2023
