What is recorded here

In a slight depression on a limestone terrace. Known locally as Clochán an Airgid (Robinson 1980), as is another clochan in Eoghanacht (GA110-016----), it consists of a much-ruined, oval-shaped structure (N-S 3.1m, E-W 2.2m) with possible entrance at E. The interior is rubble-filled. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'.
