Part of Baile na mBocht (GA110-162----); on cleared level pasture. Before its excavation by Goulden in 1954, this monument appeared as an oval mound (L c. 17m, Wth c. 15m). The excavation revealed two concentric drystone chambers, one built within the other (Ds 4.25m and 6.4m). There was a paved entranceway at ENE, immediately outside of which were two annexes flanking it on either side. The presence of a centrally placed hole in the floor of the inner house suggests the former presence of a roof support. Finds included a double bullaun of granite, a spindle-whorl, a stone ?axe and quantities of shell and animal bone. The present remains consist of a low penannular cairn (L 10.4m, Wth 10.3m) with a gap at W. (Waddell 1988, 42-6; Kinahan 1869d, 27, no. 17; Robinson 1980)
