In small overgrown fields towards the SW coast of Inis Mór. Known locally as An Cnocán Glas (pers. comm. T. Robinson), it consists of a grassed-over mound of earth and stone, oval in plan (30m by 20m, H 1.8m). Three field walls cut across the monument: one running roughly E-W and two running N-S. It limits at E and W are also bounded by further field walls. During the course of field inspection as part of the AranLIFE Farming Project (2014-2018) (see www.aranlife.ie) it was concluded that the mound may be the remains of two conjoined structures: a subcircular mound opening to the SW with a large curving annexe extending off it and running in an arc westwards before curving SE along the ridge.
