In a level area of rock outcrop 50m SSW of an ecclesiastical building (GA110-043----). Poorly preserved subcircular area (N-S 14m, E-W 12.5m) defined by a much-collapsed drystone wall. The interior appears to be subdivided by a wall running WSW-ENE. Possibly the remains of a house. or, more likely, a small enclosure.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'. Compiled by Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993).
