On the crest of a limestone bluff c. 300m SW of the village of Eoghanachta, Inis Mór. Known locally as Bullán na Caillí (Robinson 1980), it consists of an irregular natural hollow in the rock (L 0.65m, Wth 0.4m). Haddon and Browne (1893, 818) noted votive offerings on an alder bush over this well but no trace of either survive. (Haverty 1859, 41; Waddell 1973, 26)
