What is recorded here

In undulating grassland, within the N end of a graveyard (GA108-102001-). Described in the OS Letters as ‘a small rude church with all its features destroyed’; the surviving masonry suggested that it was ‘about four hundred years old’. The doorway was in S side-wall (O’Flanagan 1927, Vol. 2, 46). No visible surface trace survives. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 17 February 2020
