In undulating grassland. Marked on the 1945 revision of the OS 6-inch map as an oval enclosure (c. 50m N-S; c. 40m E-W). Known locally as a ‘fort’, it was levelled in the early 1970s. No visible surface trace survives, however, its outline is visible on the OSi Ortho_ITM aerial photography.
