On a hummock in undulating grassland. This almost circular rath (37m N-S; 36m E-W), in fair condition, is defined by a hawthorn-covered earthen bank and external fosse; the latter survives from W through N to NE but is overlain by a N-S running trackway on the E side. There is a substantial break in the bank at SSE but another gap (Wth 2.3m) at NNW may be original.
