In the list of castles in Galway, compiled in 1574, is one at 'Lisuanarigh' in the barony of Leitrim, then in the posession of 'Tege McEdmund filh Wm McGara' (Nolan 1901, 111). This may be a variation of the townland name 'Lisnagry'. Not located.
