In undulating scrubland. This well-preserved subcircular rath (c. 40m NE-SW; c. 35m NW-SE) is defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. There is an entrance gap (Wth 3.2m) at E. A souterrain (GA106-050001-) lies in the NW quadrant of the interior. According to local information, human bones (GA106-050002-) were found in the vicinity of the souterrain. A large enclosure (GA106-050003-) lies immediately to the SW and the rath appears to overlie its NE quadrant. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 27 November 2017
