What is recorded here

On a rise in low-lying pastureland. This large subcircular rath (c. 75m N-S; c. 65m E-W), in fair condition, is defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank is visible from N through E to W; from W to NW a scarp forms the enclosing element. The fosse survives around the S half of the monument and the outer bank is extant only from S to WNW. A road encircles it from NW through E to S. A gap (Wth 9m) at WNW may be original.
