What is recorded here

In low-lying pastureland. This circular rath (diam. c. 35m), in fair condition, is defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank (Wth 0.9m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.8m) is considerably higher than the outer one (Wth 0.6m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.95) and the internal ground level is also high giving the rath a raised appearance. The fosse (Wth 1.7m) was only clearly visible at NW. The monument is densely overgrown and is surrounded by field boundaries.
