On the summit of hillock in undulating pastureland. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a subrectangular enclosure (c. 36m ENE-WSW; c. 25m N-S) overlain by field boundaries along the S and W sides. It is now delimited by the field boundaries with an external scarp from S through W to N. Possibly a rath.
