What is recorded here

In open pastureland. A poorly preserved circular rath (diam. 36m) defined by a stone-faced bank of earth and stone which survives intermittently and is surrounded by a berm-like feature from NE through E to SW. McCaffrey (1952, 256, no. 6) noted an ‘almost completely filled up’ fosse; no visible surface trace of it survives. A possible souterrain (GA105-057001-) is associated.
