Described by Bence-Jones (1978) as an 18th-century house comprising two-storeys over a basement with a gable-ended front and a gable-ended return. The front was of five bays with a fanlighted doorway. This was the childhood home of Lady Gregory. Only the ruins of the house survive. It was burnt in 1922.
