What is recorded here

On a gentle E-facing slope in pastureland. This poorly preserved subrectangular enclosure (24.7m N-S; 21.3m E-W) is defined by a double-faced drystone wall on the S, W and N sides. A gap at S may be original. McCaffrey (1952, 244, no. 95) noted an external fosse, which was best preserved on the W side; no visible surface trace of it survives.
