In level pastureland. A well-preserved circular ring-barrow (diam. 24.7m) comprising a low flat-topped mound (diam. c. 11m; H 0.9m) encircled by a fosse and external bank of earth and stone. No visible surface trace of the bank survives at SW as a result of quarrying (McCaffrey 1952, 28, no. 146; 1955, 224). Field-clearance material has been dumped on it in the SE sector.
