In grassland. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 233, no. 38) as an ‘Earthen fort’ (diam. c. 48.7m) of which only a trace survived. While the rath has been leveled, the outline of its bank is visible all round and some possible stone revetting is evident at E. A field wall cuts across the monument a N and SE.
