This rectangular slab-built short cist (L 1.2m; Wth 0.7m; H 0.6m) was discovered in 1900 during gravel quarrying. It is aligned N-S and consists of four slabs roofed with a capstone. It contained the remains of two unburnt skeletons, one of which was that of an infant, the cremated bones of an adult, and two vases (McCaffrey 1952, 225, no. 137; Waddell 1975, 8; 1990, 93).
