What is recorded here

On a rise in scrubland. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 223, no. 3) as a circular ‘Stone fort’ (diam. c. 32m) defined by a drystone wall which was ‘ruined to the foundations’. The monument is overgrown and field-clearance rubble has been piled around it. The enclosing element is indicated by a very low overgrown stony bank.
