On the N side of a by-road in pastureland. According to local information, there is a children's burial ground in the N end of the field in which the cross (GA103-187001-) is located (information from Mr. G. Darcy). O'Connell and Korff (1987, 9) noted that human bones were uncovered during deep ploughing of 'the field below the cross' and 'that when the road was widened more bones were uncovered in the field opposite.' A graveslab (GA103-185----), c. 140m to the NE is said to have originally stood in the field across the road opposite the cross.
