In level grassland. Marked on the 3rd edition of the OS 6-inch map (1933) as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) with a field boundary curving around the W half of the monument. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 195, no. 73) as an ‘Earthen fort’ within which there was a souterrain (GA103-123001-). No visible surface trace survives due to land reclamation.
