What is recorded here

This drystone-built souterrain was discovered when an old house was being knocked down by a bulldozer. It consisted of a rectangular chamber (L 2.2m; Wth 1m) running NNW-SSE (SMR file). It was subsequently sealed and apart from one roof lintel, no visible surface trace survives. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 9 September 2019
