What is recorded here

In reclaimed farmland. A well-preserved roughly circular cashel (diam. c. 35m) defined by a drystone wall. A gap at NW is modern. There is a souterrain (GA103-092001-) in the WSW sector of the interior and some grassed-over foundation lines are evident at S and in the centre of it. Those at S may indicate one of two internal ‘enclosures’ noted by McCaffrey (1952, 190, no. 60) against the cashel wall at S and E. A house site (GA103-093----) lies c. 80m to the SW.
