On a rise in pastureland overlooking Lackanaloy Creek to NW. Pear-shaped rath (26.8m E-W; 22.7m N-S), in fair condition, long axis NW-SE, defined by a bank which, according to McCaffrey (1952, 174, no. 12), may have been stone-faced internally. Possible house foundations (GA102-003002-; L 11m; Wth 5m) are visible in NW quadrant of the interior. A raised trackway (L c. 30m) extends from NW for a distance of 30m and leads to a subcircular enclosure (GA102-003001-). (Holt 1912, 230)
