Located in the graveyard (GA101-017002-) that surrounds Clonfert Cathedral (GA101-017001-), this cross-slab is now incorporated into a modern grave surround. Described by Higgins (1987, ii, 375, no. 95) as a weathered rectangular slab (H 0.61m; Wth 0.63m; T 0.12m) bearing a two-line ringed cross with straight-ended terminals. The cross occupies most of the slab but traces of an inscription reading OR DO were recorded above it, on the left hand side, by various authors (O’Flanagan 1927, Vol. 2, 105; Crawford 1913, 153(b)). It is now very difficult to make out.
