What is recorded here

On a ridge in undulating grassland. Subcircular rath (N-S 33m, E-W 20m), in fair condition, cut by a field boundary at N and S, to E of which an inner scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank define the monument. To W, only a degraded scarp merging with the ridge survives. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
