On a gentle S-facing slope in grassland. Marked on the OS 6-inch maps as an oval enclosure (c. 32m E-W; c. 30m NW-SE); on the 1838 map it was planted with trees, these are not depicted on the 1946-7 revision of the map clear but it was clipped by a N-S running road from NE to SE. No visible surface trace survives.
