In level marshy grassland surrounded by a stream. This rectangular enclosure (32.9m NE-SW; 21.7m NW-SE), in fair condition, is defined by an earthen bank and external fosse. Quarrying has encroached upon the monument along the S and W sides. A bank and fosse run NW for 3.5m to the W of the enclosure and a series of rectangular earthworks, possibly associated, lie to the NW and SE.
