On a rise in undulating grassland. Marked on the 1933 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a subcircular enclosure overlain by a field boundary from NW through E to SE. The monument
has been ploughed out but on inspection in April 1985 a band of lighter soil indicated its outline (33.5m N-S; 27m E-W). It is also visible on the OSi digitalglobe aerial photograph.
