What is recorded here

On a ridge in grassland. This poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. 49m) was noted on an aerial photograph (GSIAP 525M). It is defined by a grassed-over collapsed drystone wall, best preserved from W to NNW where external wall-facing is visible. The interior is uneven with a number of low irregular N-S running stony banks crossing it; these may be later features. There is a possible souterrain (GA097-156----) in the S sector (SMR file).
