This record relates to the original location of the Turoe Stone, which was in the vicinity of the Rath of Feewore (GA097-150001-) (Raftery 1944, 23) but the precise location is unknown. It was subsequently moved to the lawn in front of Turoe House – see GA097-152---- for present location. The stone has been temporarily removed to the Office of Public Works depot in Athenry for conservation purposes.
