On a W-facing slope of a rise in grassland. Circular rath (diam. 33m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The enclosing elements are much disturbed from NE through E to SE. There is a stone-lined causewayed entrance gap (Wth 2.4m) at E. A field wall cuts through the monument at SE and SW. There is a bullaun (GA097-001001-) in NE quadrant of the interior.
