What is recorded here

In scrubland overlooking a turlough to the N. This very poorly preserved rectangular church (12m NW-SE; 5.9m NE-SW; wall T 0.9-1m) is densely overgrown. All that survives is the S end of the SE gable (L 3m; ext. H 1.7m) and the foundation lines of the NW gable and NE side-wall. A field wall overlies the SW side-wall. No architectural features are visible. According to local information there was a graveyard (GA096-165001-) to the S. Current aerial imagery (OSi digitalglobe) indicates that this area is now overgrown with trees. (O'Flanagan 1927a, Vol. 1, 444; McCaffrey 1952, 80, 83, 145).
