What is recorded here

On a prominent rise in tillage. Circular cashel (diam. 23.2m), in fair condition, defined by a drystone wall much obscured by bushes and field-clearance rubble. A gap at NNW appears to be modern. Redington (1916a, 54-5) refers to a souterrain (GA096-036001-) in N half of the interior and also a possible annexe on W side of the monument. The latter (28.3m x 22.8m) was defined by a 'thick' wall (Wth 2.4-2.7m). No visible surface trace of these features survives.
