On a rise in pastureland. Described by Cody (1989, 237-8, no. 67) as a subcircular cashel (27m E-W; 25m N-S) defined by a massive drystone wall (Wth 4.5m; max. ext. H 2.5). The well-built outer wall face survived but little of the inner wall-face was evident. The interior of the monument and most of the enclosing wall were overgrown with trees and bushes.
