On a S-facing slope in undulating pastureland. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a subcircular enclosure (c. 32m E-W; c. 25m N-S). According to Lynch Athy (1914, 137), the monument had been 'levelled to the foundations since 1840'. No visible surface trace survives. (McCaffrey 1952, 145)
