In level grassland, overlooking Mweeloon Bay c. 150m to the W. Named ‘Toberbrenan’ in Gothic script on the 1838 and 1945 editions of the 6-inch OS maps. This natural spring well (diam. 1.7m) is enclosed by a low circular drystone limestone wall (H 0.5m) that may originally have been up to 2m wide. At SW a ledge protrudes from the well shaft. On inspection, the water was 0.4m deep and the well was overgrown with bushes. It was known locally that it had been used as a holy well.
