In very rough pastureland sloping to the S and immediately to the N of the rocky shoreline of Galway Bay. According to local folklore, a children's burial ground was located somewhere in a small field/paddock along the shore to the W of the Silver Strand (information from Mr Seamus Hickey 1/11/2017). No grave-markers are visible - they may have been covered over by blowing sands. Not precisely located.
