In a shallow natural declivity, on a gentle W-facing slope overlooking Lough Illauntrasna c. 80m to the W. Known locally as a children's burial ground, this almost rectangular area (28m N-S; 15m E-W) is intermittantly enclosed along the E and W by outcropping granite rock. The interior is overgrown with fern and briar and is tussock covered. Some half-dozen small unworked earthfast blocks and flags (max. dims. H 0.4m; Wth 0.28m; T 0.2m), are visible and appear to act as simple grave-markers, while many more appear to be concealed in the tussocks. A small area of recent disturbance (c. 5m E-W; c. 4m N-S) is visible at the N edge of the site across which a modern access road runs to a new water-pumping station on the lakeshore.
