In undulating grassland. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1946) as an oval enclosure (NW-SE c. 40m, NE-SW c. 30m). All that survives is the natural rise on which the monument was located. According to local information, this enclosure was removed during a land reclamation scheme in the 1960s. An enclosure (GA087-159001-) lies c. 20m to SW.
