What is recorded here

In level grassland. Poorly preserved oval rath (WSW-ENE 62.7m, N-S 50m) defined by a scarp and external fosse. The fosse survives from NE through E to SE. A field wall cuts the monument at WNW and ENE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
