On low-lying drained marshy ground. Named ‘Tobar Padraig’ only on the 1933 edition of the 6-inch OS map. On inspection in 1983, it consisted of a natural spring well supplying a nearby stream. On a subsequent inspection in 1992, there was no visible trace of it as a wide deep drain was cut across it. Cody (1989, 333, no. 148), referring to the OS Revision Name Book, noted that in 1928 it was no longer regarded as a holy well.
